I love grocery shopping probably more than anyone else on the planet. I look forward to my weekly visits to Philly’s Italian Market, Superfresh, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods (I like to mix it up). I scour the aisles, examine the produce, and look for new, useful products.
This is my zen.
I go to the grocery store at odd times to avoid the crowds: Friday night after 9pm; on my way home from work at 2:30pm. My favorite stores are the ones that stay open 24 hours a day. Have you ever been to a grocery store at 3am? Zen.
But on days like today with snow on the ground, rain pouring down, and temperatures hovering around 50 degrees…I’d rather stay indoors. I walked out briefly earlier, the weather was confusing and the streets are filled with dirty snow/slush/water. No thank you.
It’s days like this that I’m glad I have Door to Door Organics.
Door to Door Organics is like your favorite neighborhood Chinese take-out place…except instead of greasy food, they deliver you 100% organic, healthy, and farm fresh fruits and veggies!
The process is simple:
- Sign up online at http://www.doortodoororganics.com.
- Choose what size box works best for you. Sizes are little, small, medium, and large. You can else choose if you want your box filled with all fruits, all veggies, or “mixed.”
- Choose how often you would like your box delivered. I get my little mixed box delivered bi-weekly.
- Place your order!
You can also look at the contents of your box ahead of time and switch out anything you aren’t too crazy about, which is an awesome feature.
