I just finished a quick, but grueling, session at the gym. So grueling that after I walked home from the gym, I sat on the front stoop of my apartment contemplating if I could make it up the stairs.
Twenty minutes later, I just barely made it up.
My arms are noodles. My legs feel like they’ve been torched by fire-breathing dragons.
I blame the C4.
C4 is a pre-workout powder from Cellucor containing aminos, vitamins, creatine, and other good stuff that I don’t understand.
All I know is that this stuff works. I mean reallyyy works. And it’s delicious.
It contains Beta Alanine, an amino acid that produces a tingling/itching feeling on your skin. Kinda weird at first, but you get used to it and it really isn’t an uncomfortable feeling. After the tingling comes the energy.
That’s the only way I can describe how I feel when I take this stuff.
Now that my workout is out of the way for today, I’m off to go back down to my stoop and sit at the bottom of the steps. After all, it’s 64 degrees out and I don’t have a deck, balcony, or backyard. Stoop-stoopin’ is a habit.
(Sorry, I had to.)
I leave you with a conversation I had today with Francisco.
